Email faxing allows you to send faxes to your email and receive faxes to your mailbox. This way you no longer need a fax machine. This saves you money and you are environmentally aware. SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is used to set up voice connections with VoIP telephony. A SIP Trunk creates an opportunity to route your calls over the Internet. This makes a traditional telephone line superfluous.

SIP Trunk means exactly the same as VoIP Trunk, only the name is different. The words are synonyms of each other.

In practice, you can send the voice data over the internet and via the telephony hardware via a SIP trunk. The SIP trunk ensures that the telephone exchange registers on the servers of the telecom supplier. You can think of it as what a SIM card is to a phone. That is a SIP trunk for a telephone exchange.

It is very important that you secure the control panel properly. It regularly happens that poorly secured VoIP exchanges are ‘hacked’ and an enormous amount of outgoing calls are made. Fortunately, we have a fraud detection system with us that deactivates your SIP Trunk in case of suspicious call traffic. When this happens, this system ensures that the damage is limited.

A SIP trunk is suitable for almost all types of telephone exchanges. Almost all modern telephone exchanges today have a standard SIP Trunk gateway. This means that the telephone exchange supports the SIP Trunk. This option is not available with the older analog and ISDN telephone exchanges. Here we can supply a converter (ATA). Advantages

With Message To The Moon’s SIP Trunk, you pay per user. You pay for the number of lines you want to use. These lines are equal to the number of simultaneous calls you can make. By capping the number of lines you will actually use, you will never pay more than necessary. You can also expand the number of SIP lines indefinitely. You only pay €2 for each extra line.

You can now have your national en international numbers delivered directly to your telephone exchange via SIP Trunk. With Message To The Moon, you will receive a standard 085 number with your SIP Trunk package. With our cost-saving SIP Trunks, you can add both inbound, with a choice of Message To The Moon numbers, and outbound reliable telephony to your call center or contact center. Our SIP Trunks are connected to two data centers for this. This gives you redundancy on the conversations that are vital to you. From 100 lines/channels, a separate network can be created with regard to your data traffic. We do this via separate VPN and IPsec connections.

With our SIP Trunks, you can call in HD quality. The call quality of calling over the internet is better than over a traditional telephone line. By using the latest codecs (G722), there is even more bandwidth and conversations are always razor-sharp.
